According to a filing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, Toyota has trademarked Lexus NX300 for “automobiles and structural parts.” The V6-powered model could slot between the base 200t and the hybrid 300h in the NX lineup.
The NX 200t uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder enigne rated at 235 horsepower, while the NX 300h uses a hybrid powertrain with a 2.5-litre inline-four, pumping out a total of 194 horsepower.
The NX 300 would likely use a 3.5-litre V6 from Lexus’ other offerings including the IS 300 sedan, which is rated at 255 horsepower.
