Perhaps the most impressive reveal at the Detroit Auto Show was the Lexus LC 500. It’s an astonishingly good-looking 467-horsepower GT car that will (hopefully) kick-start a renaissance of appreciation for all the good stuff that Lexus is up to these days.

And now, it’s getting even more interesting. The Lexus LC 500 is joining the BMW i8 as one of the only hybrid GT offerings available.

Lexus will unveil the LC 500h at the Geneva Motor Show next month, powered by the company’s next-generation hybrid powertrain. It’s called the Lexus Multi Stage Hybrid System, and the company hasn’t told us much of anything about it other than it will provide “enhanced driving pleasure, more performance, and greater efficiency.”

That all sounds great, but what’s even better is the LC 500 in this gorgeous blue. We’ll take two, and learn more about its hybrid system later. It’s probably great, too.
