The LC500h comes with safety features in the form of pre-collision braking with pedestrian detection, radar-enhance cruise control and lane-keep assist. Our tester had the Convenience Package, too, adding parking assist, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
The LC500h is distinguished from its V8-sibling (the Lexus LC500) through its front and rear blue “L” badge outlines, the “hybrid” badging just ahead of the rear wheels and the “500h” badge on the rear panel.
This Lexus is powered by a hybrid powertrain that employs a pair of electric motors in conjunction with a 3.5-liter V-6.
Changes to the 2019 model year are subtle and include such items as a transmission reprogram, which allows for smoother shifts, more dialed-in steering and the integration of Apple CarPlay.
