The updated 2017 Lexus IS had its official North American autoshow debut this weekend in Miami, and with that comes new details on the USA edition of the refreshed sports sedan.
The front end is the single biggest change to the IS — both the standard and F SPORT versions have been restyled:
The rear has been updated slightly with tweaked taillights and new rectangular chrome exhausts:
Two new colors have been added to the IS palette — Caviar and Nightfall Mica — and the IS 350 will now be standard with 5-spoke 18-inch wheels.
Inside, the 2017 IS will now have two multimedia systems: the standard Lexus Display Audio with a 7-inch screen and Scout GPS Link, or an optional navigation system with Remote Touch and a new 10.3-inch screen:
Finally, the 2017 IS will come standard with Lexus Safety System+: Pre-Collision System; Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist; Intelligent High Beams; and High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. The Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert system will be available as an option.
The 2017 Lexus IS will be arriving at US dealerships this fall — for even more information, you can read the full press release.
