The GX 550 presents a rugged, capable exterior with the kind of luxurious interior that helps create a road-trip oasis. The second-row seating comes in two available configurations: captain’s chairs or a 60:40 split-folding bench. Heated and ventilated seats are standard in the driver and front passenger seats.

DESIGN

Safe to say, this is everything a GX should be - inside and out. The 2026 GX 550 will be offered in six different grades, each carefully designed to meet the needs of drivers who demand their own combination of style and performance. These grades include the Signature, Premium, Luxury, Executive, Overtrail, and Overtrail. This GX stands out, with a square body profile and horizontal design motif. From its wide track and fender flares to the raised Premium Triple Beam headlamp and grille, you’ll sense that this is something different. And it all rides on hard-to-miss 33-inch tires that contribute to the vehicle’s strong presence.

 

 

TECHNOLOGY

The 2026 GX’s instrument panel carries into the dash for a simplified front and passenger seat experience. It seamlessly connects the available Head-Up Display (HUD) to the standard 14-inch Multimedia Touchscreen Display with Lexus Interface. The 2026 GX comes standard with wireless Apple Carplay®,41 and Android AutoTM,42 compatibility, as well as a digital 12.3 Multi-Information Display (MID). Start the engine, lock and unlock doors, check the status of windows, check your fuel level and more all through the Lexus app. Enjoy Cloud Navigation with real-time updates, access to a 24/7 live agent with Destination Assist, and Intelligent Assistant that responds to your natural voice. The Turn Assist function enhances the vehicle’s response to steering on difficult turns that typically would require repositioning the vehicle and turning more than once. GX features a 10-speaker audio system, while GX Luxury, Executive and Overtrail+ packages boast a 21-Speaker Mark Levinson® Premium Audio System.
