2024 Lexus TX

2024 LEXUS TX

A NEW ERA OF LEXUS LUXURY

From now on, fighting over the best seats will be a thing of the past. Introducing the all-new 2024 Lexus TX, the three-row SUV that provides a new era of luxury for everyone who gets the indulgent experience of driving in one. Not only is every seat the best seat, the new TX offers the best of everything: extraordinary comfort and interior space, an unmatched driving experience, incredible all-wheel handling, and a choice of three advanced powertrains, including powerful self-charging hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines.

DESIGN

The design of the all-new Lexus TX set out to prioritize aerodynamic performance, resulting not only in enhanced efficiency and handling stability, but also led to the creation of the new Lexus ‘Unified Spindle’. The headlights are linked by a narrow aperture beneath the leading edge of the hood, with the low-set grille underneath forming a seamless spindle shape and creating a sleek front-end that enhances aerodynamic handling. The TX is the latest Lexus SUV to adopt the GA-K platform, which provides a low center of gravity and optimal weight distribution. Further improvements include enhancements made to strengthen the TX’s body rigidity and to minimize noise, vibration and harshness. The result? Improved performance and comfort that is virtually unheard of in a three-row SUV.

UNMISTAKABLE STANCE

The remarkable driving performance of the TX is realized through a wide, grounded stance that is accented by 20-inch wheels for the Premium Grade.  The 500h F SPORT Performance grades also ride on standard 22-inch wheels that sport an exclusive design. The serene interior of the TX is unlike any you’ve experienced before. It remains quiet through virtually any driving scenario, thanks to high-dampening door and roof mastic seals, and an increased silencer material under the rear cargo and floor area to help soften rear seat noise vibration. TX offers impressive storage throughout the cabin, including an available center console when equipped with captain’s chairs, to accommodate small items or a digital device and removable cupholders. And for larger items, the TX boasts ample cargo capacity with room for seven carryon suitcases in the rear of the vehicle, expanding to 57.4 cubic feet and 97 cubic feet when third row or both second and third row seats are folded down, respectively.

TECHNOLOGY

Inside the TX, the driver-focused cockpit design and 12.3 inch multi-information display enables a deeper connection between driver and vehicle. This sense of confidence is bolstered by driver controls like available head-up display (HUD) and standard Lexus Interface with a 14-inch Multimedia Touchscreen Display, providing easy-to-use controls and clear information to the driver and front-seat passengers.

An environment as great as the interior of the TX deserves a soundtrack to match. And that comes courtesy of the 21-speaker Mark Levinson™ Premium Surround System that is available on all powertrains. Not only does it deliver true surround sound, the audio system is tuned specifically for the TX Cabin to deliver high-quality audio at every seat position.

PERFORMANCE- A POWERTRAIN FOR EVERYONE

Three powertrain options are available including two electrified models, a Lexus-first 3.5L V6 plug-in hybrid and a high-performance 2.4L turbocharged hybrid powertrain. The TX 350 AWD offers a 2.4L turbocharged inline 4-engine for refined driving performance, and the TX 500h offers a 2.4L turbocharged Parallel Hybrid system available exclusively as F SPORT Performance.

SMOOTH, EXHILARATING RIDE

The TX continues the Next Chapter of Lexus SUVs with evolved Lexus Driving Signature fundamentals. In particular, the TX has been specifically tuned to provide a smooth, yet exhilarating drive on any road you choose. And that ride will be just as comfortable in every seat, in every row, with zero compromise on the feeling of luxury every driver and passenger should feel on their journey.

DIRECT4 ALL-WHEEL DRIVE

DIRECT4, the core technology of Lexus Electrified, is an all-wheel drive system that achieves quick and linear response according to driver input on the self-charging hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. The DIRECT4 drive force distribution control uses vehicle wheel speed, acceleration, and steering angle sensor information to control front-to-rear drive force ratio distribution between 100:0 and 0:100. This contributes to improved start-up acceleration, handling stability, and low power consumption.
